Jack Key

Jack graduated in 1984 from the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree from the school of Commerce and Business Administration and immediately went to work in the commercial real estate industry. In 2010, Jack formed J. Key Properties, LLC, a brokerage firm serving the Birmingham metro area and North Alabama. Jack’s primary focus has been industrial properties but has completed a wide array of transactions including retail investment and office tenant representation. 

Jack has participated in over 500 transactions in a thirty-eight-year career. Some of his past clients include Buffalo Rock Bottling Company, Regions Bank, DSW Cutting Service, and many small businesses and local investors. Jack provides a wealth of market knowledge, real estate finance expertise, and negotiating skills to his clients. Jack takes pride in assisting clients with due diligence, renovations, and stays involved in every transaction to completion. In addition, Jack has invested in commercial real estate since the mid-1990s and enjoys assisting his clients make a great real estate investment.   

Casey Hitt

Casey graduated from the University of Alabama in 2012 with a B.A. degree from the school of Communications. He worked in hospitality before entering the real estate field in 2017. He joined J. Key Properties, LLC in 2023. In just six years Casey has been involved in a wide range of transactions including land sales, industrial building sales, and representation of a restaurant purchaser. 

In 2022 Casey formed an investment group and purchased a boutique office building in Birmingham’s Southside. Casey oversaw the renovation and leased most of the building to a federal government contractor. Casey is excited about the future of Birmingham commercial real estate and is eager to go to work for you.
